Joey founded Basic Firearm Education LLC to satisfy his desire to teach and educate others in safe firearm use and ownership. He learned that he loved to teach during his successful 35 year stint as a sales professional. Joey has been a gun and shooting enthusiast for most of his life. As COVID forced a new look at his career, he decided it was time to follow his passion and start teaching. He is an NRA Certified Instructor in Basic Pistol Shooting, an avid hunter, outdoorsman, ATV'er and gun tinkerer.
